Compliments of Jeter's Old World Antiques, Angleton, TX. 77515
On Highway 36, on the way to Freeport (right by Buc-ee's), Romelle Turner's little shop is one of the most interesting places in the county. She is a first class decorator and has the friendly attitude that helps others develop a vision. Let's go inside!
On highway 36, on the way to Ramblin Rose, stop off at the Resale Shop. Kathy's place is perfectly named--a hodgepodge of buried treasure, quality crystal and the kitchen sink. Her old barnwood coolers and accessories supporting the Houston Texans are awesome.
Close to downtown, on the right toward Freeport, Farmhouse Salvage appears to be an ordinary small town store. Go inside...architectural metal, an old drug store counter, porch swings hanging from rafters on an inside porch...a museum. Hundreds of doors, vintage metal signs, and repurposed (salvaged) accessories with owners who are friendly and helpful, visiting here is an experience unlike any other in Brazoria County.
On 521, about a mile from Ramblin Rose, is Mertie's. The name is perfect--you never know what you will find--always a little of this, a little of that! It looks like a garden shop on the outside, has a homey relaxed atmosphere, and Mertie will open the door and show you inside.
